Shortly after college, Adam Schoenberg built and sold a TV network, then found himself managing sales teams. However, a chance meeting with an old friend at a wedding in Sweden in 2009 turned into a business partnership and a thriving new career.

As a co-founder of Hook & Albert, Schoenberg built a prestigious, profitable menswear brand. They got buy-in from Barneys, Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdales within six weeks, scaled intelligently by spending carefully, and sold their company to Detail Provisions, where he is now a managing partner.

Today, Adam joins the podcast to tell the story of the first chapter of this career, as well as the second one he’s now embarking on. You’ll learn how to tell if you’re selling to the right people, the power of the entrepreneurial spirit across every phase of life, and how he’s now working to help others take brands like Hook & Albert to the next level.
