As a way to cope with difficult emotions, we often attempt to block the negative emotions or distract ourselves. We suppress our emotions without realizing that it doesn't mean they will go away. It's only a matter of time for those emotions to resurface when triggered.

In this episode, Joyan sits down with Leah to talk about how to use breathwork as a tool to simply bring yourself back to this moment and process the emotions, letting them move through us. She also shares how to stay in alignment and cultivate mindfulness in your day-to-day life.

What we talk about:

Happiness can only be found when we stop seeking it
The power of meditation and journaling
Simple breathwork exercise
How to use social media mindfully
Processing difficult emotions
Working with triggers
