Jamie is a former academic, current wineau, and a sometimes writer. After losing her husband Bill suddenly in 2019, Jamie launched her grief coaching practice to help other widows on the younger side of life navigate what comes next. Her book "Salt & Ash & Honey & Magic" is about her journey with grief. In addition to her memoir, Jamie writes poetry and travel articles and is hard at work on her first novel.
