Years ago Laura Doyle found herself in a loveless marriage. She couldn't understand why she was experiencing so many problems in her relationship and believed it was ALL her husband's fault. She complained and nagged until one day she decided she was tired of the same cycles and decided to make a change. From there she went around asking women in lasting marriages what the secret was to a loving, passionate and peaceful marriage. What she discovered is what she calls the 6 intimacy skills in the Empowered Wife Book.

I've found some of her skills very helpful and wanted to share them with you. Overall I believe this book is a good starting point for a newly wed or someone with no relational skills when it relates to marriage.  Otherwise you will need additional support. Laura Doyle offers support/coaching for women who are interested. I can also refer you to a woman I've worked with personally for relationship coaching.
