October is Black history  month we continue our discussion on Sickle Cell Disorder-a disorder in the red blood cells  mostly prevalent  in people of African origin and affects over 4.5 million people globally , -over 100,000 people in US , about 15,000 in UK .  In Nigeria over 150,000 children are  born with this disorder every year, people born with this illness are often stigmatised  demoralised and traumatised mentally , physically and emotionally. This episode explores unique peculiarities, attributes  and preventative actions that can be taken to help sufferers and stop future spread of the disorder .
