Episode 53: Kath - Real life story Adventures Lust and Drugs

It is black history month, I feature someone i will simply call Kath, she shares her real-life story.
Going from a carefree young girl just finishing her GCSE's to seeking some adventure outside the United Kingdom, getting on her first flight to Greece where she learnt to fend for herself by taking up all sorts of jobs, including Grave digging
She came back home, got a regular job but then at just nineteen years old attracted the attention of a man who was seventeen years older than she was!
She thought she had it all with this older man, but he abandoned her when she went through Postnatal depression pushing her to a dark place and she started doing drugs on a recreational basis, then got addicted, and was sent to prison as a result of being caught with these drugs.
she talked about her time in prison, how she decided to get clean and found help from a doctor who was willing to trust her enough and help her by prescribing the medication she needed under strict
Kath shared a few lessons she learned, also advice she would give her seventeen-year-old self and how she is still supported with her mental health care even now
It is an episode that is full of twists and turns, a must-listen,
