Laura Youngson is a STEM advocate, TED speaker, and four-time Guiness World Record Holder. After completing her physics degree at Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship in Melbourne, Australia, she worked at the 2012 Olympics and was immediately drawn to the power sport had in bringing people together. She’s always held a desire to make a lasting mark in sports and set out to do just that when she founded Ida Sports, makers of soccer cleats designed specifically for women, and Equal Playing Field, a nonprofit initiative challenging gender inequality in sports.

Ida Sports makes soccer cleats fit for female athletes because women and men's feet are different and more options are needed! From players looking for more comfort so they can focus on their game, to parents or coaches looking out for their players' health and safety, Ida Sports is changing the game for women and girls around the world.
