Dr. Silvia Mah is the founder and chairwoman of Stella, a business accelerator for women, and the founder of Stella Angels, a network of accredited angel investors who fund women. A social impact investor, Mah is also funding women-led startups through various funds including Next Wave Impact, Stella Impact Capital, Portfolia and Ad Astra Ventures. Stella Angels is a network of accredited angel investors who are funding women in two ways: by coordinating direct introductions to interested investors, and by creating special purpose vehicles (SPVs). When the Stella Angels community of investors has collectively committed $50K+ into one company, they can streamline the investment via an SPV, giving the founder just one line item on their cap table. Stella Angels is welcoming new members who are seeking to invest across industries in women-led companies with some traction. To get started, email [email protected]. Stella Angels is a part of Stella, a membership community providing women founders with business courses, access to capital events, advisory services and funding opportunities.
