To mayfly-lived mortals, palaces boast proudly of outliving generations of flesh. But on a faery’s timeline, stone is as sand in the wind. And what might happen to a palace of a mind when the weight of years tumbles down the walls, twines ivy through the mortar and brambles through the rubble, and all is left in ruin?

Amidst the Folly’s disarray, Fimbly Dun and Tingly Grimbles follow their noses to the kitchen to hear some frank truths, and meet the final claimant to the Folly’s throne. And Esmeralda Cortada of the Fanciest Jigs has a long-awaited reunion with an old and beloved friend...
