Fearless Films Podcast is a weekly show where we walk through horror movies, breaking down the beats, discussing the lore and interesting trivia of all the best (and worst) in the horror movie genre. The show started as Pete, the horror buff, explaining the plots of horror movies to Kevin, the scaredy cat, who hates being scared but is intrigued by these modern mythologies.

Kevin eventually retired from the podcast, but the show goes on! Pete is now joined by Sarah, who also loves horror movies, and they continue the tradition of explaining the scariest stories to all the scaredy cats out there, so they don't have to watch the movies.

Episode 80 - April Fools

April 05, 2021 16:00 - 1 hour - 53.8 MB

Pete digs up another terrible holiday themed horror movie and Kevin can't handle it. This time Pete had gone too far. The tables are turned in this episode!  What does that mean? I don't know! They don't tell me things! What do table's turning even have to do with anything? Wouldn't the table just still be the same? If it's a round or square table can you even tell if it's been turned?  Find the answers to none of these questions on this week's episode of Fearless Films!

*TRIGGER WARNING* If talking about ABSOULTE TRASH movies from the early 2000s makes you upset or uncomfortable- DONT LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE.  Kevin and Pete get together, begrudgingly, to talk about a movie so bad that even Pete wants out from the beginning.  Listen as the perplexed duo question their way through this horribly done, kinda spoof of a slasher movie that didn't try hard enough to either be entertaining, scary or deliver a message. Love is in the air everyone!

Welcome to Christmas time at Fearless Films! Having run out of Black Christmas movies to talk about (for now) Pete and Kevin turn to another Christmas movie for their holiday Cheer. Unfortunately for them 'cheer' is the last thing anyone is feeling as they struggle through this movie. Pete tells the tale of a notorious serial killer using voodoo magic to inhabit the body of a doll in order to cheat death. November 24, 2020 02:00 - 1 hour - 43.1 MB

On this weeks episode of Fearless Films, the guys return to the Overlook for the rare Stephen King sequel, this time being Dr. Sleep. Pete explains how this follow-up to The Shining focuses more on psychic people battling each other, and less on spooky haunted hotels. Little Danny Torrence is all grown up, and battling demons both metaphorically and literally. Kevin squirms as King continues to put children in danger and make us face the horrors of the human condition. He also appreciates ...

Unlike the seminal timeloop film, Groundhog's Day, she does not learn how to play the piano with her new free time (however, she does learn to love again). This week on Fearless Films, the guys confront their most dreaded enemy once again - THE REMAKE. This time they are discussing Friday the 13th (2009). Pete explains how the writers crammed four movies worth of plot into this one film, and yet somehow came up with a shallow series of kills with barely any story holding them together (and that's compared to the 80's slashers this is rebooting). Kevin is barely hanging on after a month of Jason, and finds no respite from this entry. He has th...

In part 1, Pete breaks down Friday's 2, 3, and 4 - The Human Years. Jason is still just a "regular" human killer, who runs instead of stalks, and struggles to grapple with teenagers instead of bending them in half with super strength. These early entries still have the feeling of late 70's summ...

September 29, 2020 11:00 - 1 hour - 41.6 MB

On this week's episode of Fearless Films, the guys are celebrating their one year anniversary by coming full circle and returning to the haunted place where it all started: Black Christmas!... (2019). Pete is amazed to admit that he actually found a version of Black Christmas that he enjoyed! Turns out, when you remove the shock factor gross-out elements, creepy incest, and erratic jumps in tone, you can actually put out a pretty good movie. Kevin is skeptical, but follows along anyway. Th...

Also, he agrees that cats are jerks.  So grab a shovel and help us dig up the horror that is Pet Sematary. And remember, don't get too scared...

Kevin is relieved to hear that not every horror movie from the late 90's/early 2000's is an edgy, cringey reminder of his teen years. He is also thrille...
