Today we have Matt Ruffino on the mic, who also goes by RuffiØ (Ruffi0). Matt is a father of two from Detroit, MI, and an Army veteran. Matt, like most new dads, fought hard with his mental health. But that didn't stop him from his passion which is his family and music.

Recently, Ruffi0 released his debut album "Speramus Meliora" which is a roller coaster ride of emotion. From the opening track "Corpse" all the way to "The Unknown", you know it's a man's struggles of mental health, depression, and thoughts of suicide.

In this episode, we are digging deep when it comes to battling our own mental health, things that have worked for Matt, and tools to take away. We also touch on why he went the route he did with the album, and what it's meant for him and his listeners.

If there is anything you take away in today's episode, it should be these three things:

1. Imperfect action is better than waiting for "the right time".

2. We are all cut from the same cloth one way or another.

3. Stepping away without a fallback will lead to great things.
