You didn’t even know what social distancing was a month ago.  Now it’s your life.  Your new normal isn’t normal at all.  Relationships just got harder and even though you can attend work meetings in your underwear now, let’s face it, Zoom calls are still not ideal (though the 40-minute meeting limit is a great bonus).

It’s in seasons like this, however, when our routines are broken, that God has a way of stretching us, calling us to more.  Will we keep our heads down and just get by, or will we come out of this season of distance taking new ground in our relationships?

Take New Ground Discussion Questions:

How has social distancing affected your relationships? Are your relationships stronger, strained, or stagnant?Pastor Chris shared, "Stress reveals what distance conceals." In what ways have you seen this in your own life? What has the stress of social distancing revealed about your relationship with God and others? What is one thing you can do this week to start building a bridge towards one of the strained or stagnant relationships in your life?
