This episode focuses on the role of women in radio, specifically looking at projects which have attempted to give women a fairer representation within UK radio. Joining Terry in the studio is co-host Charlotte Powers, a Media Performance student at the University.


They hear from; Dr Caroline Mitchell - a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sunderland, founder of Fem FM in 1992, and an active academic in the field of women in radio broadcasting.  Ngunan Adamu talks to us about her IWoman projects.  We'll also hear from Dr Lawrie Hallett, Senior Lecturer in Radio and Journalism, in his radio surgery. And do some jargon busting with our 'radio word of the week'.
