Filmmaker Darcy Weir (UFO Events - The Best of Third Phase, Occult Journeys, Beyond the Spectrum - Humanoids) continues his adventures in the world of Cryptozoology with his latest documentary, Sasquatch Among the Wildmen.

Weir covers the topic of this species and their cousins in East Asia, China specifically with the Yeren. The Yeren is much shorter than Bigfoot, standing between 6' to 6'5" in height, making them easier to disappear in the the Chinese forests, and to the average skeptic, a bit more believable.

Sasquatch Among the Wildmen also features Dr. Jeff Meldrum is a Full Professor of Anatomy & Anthropology at Idaho State University, a man who has quickly become the leading Bigfoot researcher based on his expertise on foot morphology and locomotion in primates.

I spoke with Weir about his take on the alternative science theories about these wildmen, the notion that Bigfoot uses wormholes to travel around the Pacific Northwest and where he stood in regards to scientific evidence regarding these creatures.
