Have you ever achieved a goal in your health and fitness, only to have everything turn back to the way it was before you started?

You see, most people stop pushing when they hit their target, resulting in a temporary change.

What we need to start striving for is transformation. We need to shift our identity and become the person who lives that life.

The two most important aspects of creating this transformation is immersing yourself with a supportive environment and to always be curious and learning, even when what you’re learning is something you’ve heard many times before.

On my recent Yoga Retreat to the Blue Osa in Costa Rica, I was surrounded by people who all wanted the same thing - to become better connected in body and mind, and to learn.

When you allow yourself to be open to new ideas and thought patterns, the chances of you creating lifelong transformation increases exponentially.

In this episode of the Fall In Love With Fitness Podcast, I speak to a very special friend of mind, Bethany Henry.

Bethany is a professional makeup artist from Los Angeles, California. She has a passion for  all things fitness, from running, pole fitness, boxing and swimming, to diving, surfing, and volleyball.

Bethany was with me in Costa Rica training to be a yoga teacher specializing in applied yoga anatomy. She is a strong advocate for mental health and believes that self care means listening to your body when you eat, move, and rest.
