We have a couple of announcements for you! In today’s episode, we’re joined by Joe Giorno, our September Listener of the Month. He told us what he loved about us, what he didn’t like, and how much we’ve grown. Next week, we will be joined with our October Listener of the Month, followed by former ECHL & Europe player, Colin Mulvey.
Joe Thornton has finally signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Jumbo was open and honest saying he and the Leafs have been trying for this since 2017. Where does Joe play this upcoming season, and what do we make of all the moves the Leafs have made? What are the expectations?
Speaking of which, the people of Montreal should have high ones. GM Marc Bergevin has really put a nice team together and locking in some key pieces. Brendan Gallagher and Jake Allen have both signed and are poised to give the rest of the Canadian teams a run for their money.
The speculation of an all Canadian division had us thinking where exactly each team would fall. Among the Leafs and Habs, where do Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnipeg place with all due respect to Ottawa. We give a little prediction.
