Did anyone else happen to notice how many times the term “Green Bananas” was used on Tuesday during day one of the draft coverage? In any case, we’re ripe and ready to go.
Steven Ellis of The Hockey News joined the boys to break down the NHL draft and the biggest free agency signings and trades. Steven has a special connection with this draft class, so he was especially excited to review and analyze this one!
The free-agent market opened last Friday and it wasn’t long before a couple of big names were taken off the board. We analyze what teams are trying to do with their respective signings.
Taylor Hall wanted to go to a winner, so it’s obvious that he would choose a winning franchise in Buffalo...(sarcasm). Torey Krug said Boston never made him an offer. Now that’s a spicy meatball. Kyle Dubas and Pierre Dorion made their teams tougher, and the Pacific Division was nothing short of a game of musical chairs.
Needless to say, this was 90 minutes of pure hockey talk so it’s impossible to list every topic! Enjoy ya beauties.
