It was a pleasure to talk to Myles R. Walker about his experience growing up with Tourette's in Connecticut and later Tennessee. We get to hear Myles talking about the real TS struggles in the POC community. We talked a lot about ignorance and how important it is to educate the community about Tourette's syndrome and comorbidities.

The Reboot

With my recent diagnosis of Bipolar 1 with major depressive episode I'm now newly medicated, on psychotherapy, and feeling a lot more in control. I want to reboot my podcast and in this episode I reintroduced my podcast to the space.

Suddenly I'm tic free

This medicine I am taking for Bipolar has also wiped away all my tics. In all honesty I wanted to regulate my manic and depression but after 30 years with Tourette I think my Tics add appeals lol. Now both my motor and vocal tics are hardly there. I do feel strange. As a TS advocate suddenly I am now advocating verbally without pausing for any tics feel strange. But I just seems to forget about ticcing. I was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome ADHD and OCD at 12 and medicated for 8 years...

When I was a 3rd grader

Korean Shamanism

My faith lies with Korean Shamanism which is combination of indigenous Korean folk shamanic practice, Chinese Taoism and Buddhism.   We don't have a church to go to.
