I'm so pumped up from the Mom Conference this week. So many great interviews and ideas that I'm excited to implement in my own family. Dr. Laura Markham on Day 1 blew me away. I love it when the professionals kind of outline a script for you to follow when talking to your kids. Sometimes I know what NOT to say, but draw a blank about what TO say. She takes out the guesswork and knowing the "why" behind it all really gives me some perspective. I also loved Dina Alexander, about talking to our kids about sex. Tough topic that she approaches in a really practical way.

Day 2: I loved the Amazon guy! What a character! So many of us want to be at home with our children, but feel torn to have something else on the side or want to make a little extra money. What a great work from home idea! Oh and Marla Cilley! The Flylady is the best and I love her accent and her heart for wanting people to love themselves. Beautiful!

Day 3: I loved Kelly Jensen. I'd never heard from her before and loved her idea of the "Live List." I thought it was so smart how she said her husband always uses that for her birthday gift ideas. Genius! That list is a great way to show people how to love us. She had a great energy and I loved hearing from her. Also got to watch Ruth Soukup about decluttering and Shawni Pothier about technology. So many great takeaways!

The only problem with the conference was that I ran out of time and there were so many speakers I didn't get to. Enter the Mom Conference Packages. If you click on the package options on the website you can find two different packages that will give you unlimited access to all 20 presentations and some bonus materials. Of course there is an encore day on Tuesday featuring five favorite presentations, but I like the option of watching these in the coming weeks at my leisure.

Today on the podcast I'm chatting with Saren Loosli, one of the co-founders of the conference and we're chatting about our favorite takeaways and she'll go into more details about the packages. If you feel like it's a fit, this is a really great purchase to give you some extra tools in your toolbelt.
