Exploring Sports - Audio
14 episodes - English - Latest episode: almost 15 years ago -Six audio interviews with sports enthusiasts, an amateur footballer, Olympic cyclist, fencer, judo athlete, paraglider and marathon runner discuss three themes: Motivation, Coaching and Performance and Nutrition. The course considers the body as an engine, its fuel requirements and mechanics. The course also look at improving sports performance through coaching and the place of sport in society, why it is there and what motivates competitors and spectators. This material forms part of The Open University course Y164 Exploring sport online.
