So often, we have the urge to push away our emotions, especially when dealing with substance abuse issues. In fact, that could be a lot of the reason we decide to drink, because it’s a way to “take the edge off” of our emotions. But, I’ve come to learn that trusting myself to feel and experience my emotions has made a world of difference in living my epic life.

Understanding our behaviors is the first step in changing your approach to your emotions and beginning to unblock your EXIT. That’s what I talk about in today's episode, which focuses a lot on the Tiny Habits book and training that I’m a strong believer in.

Here is what I cover in this episode:

Getting Rid of the Need to “Take the Edge Off”The Tiny Habits Behavior ModelThe Phases of the Behavior Change Master Plan

It’s really not about getting rid of any behaviors, but rather, untangling them to gain a better understanding of them. That’s what I want to help you to do in order to reach a better place in trusting yourself to feel and experience your emotions.
