(1975 - 2022) Paula DeLuca, that semi-degenerate Long Island mom whose passion for both gambling and intimate neighborly friendship led to the dismantling of her tranquil suburban home life, died last night in the arms of the woman she loved and on the floor of the only public place she ever felt truly comfortable in. DeLuca will be remembered for kind of being all in your face at all times, for parading around National Parks with her best friend Kathy, and for draining local bars of all their wine. Her funeral will be held at the former location of Jake's 58 off Exit 58 - which is now just a beer vendor stand. Bring kids. No Switches allowed.
