In Between with Jemar Tisby

In episode four, Daniel sits down with Jemar Tisby. Jemar is the president of The Witness: A Black Christian Collective and the author of The Color Of Compromise (2019). He is also the co-host of the podcast Pass The Mic. Jemar is a PhD student in History at the University of Mississippi studying race, religion, and social movements in the twentieth century. Daniel and Jemar discuss racism within the Church and the complicated histories of heroes like Billy Graham and Jonathan Edwards. Jemar also helps solve an ongoing debate in Daniel’s marriage. 

After the episode Jessica and Daniel discuss the triggering term, white privilege. Jessica and Daniel share their understanding and personal experiences with white privilege.
