About

On today’s episode, I talk to Meg Zeenat Wamithi about turning your pain into purpose, owning your mental health and using your experiences as fuel to make a difference to others.

In this episode Meg takes us on a journey on how her battle to find help and resources for what she was experiencing regarding her mental health has led her to be a revolutionary leader and change maker in the mental health field for young people. Meg has made it her mission to ensure that no one experiences the same struggles she did when seeking help for their mental health and has grown a mental health campaign that started out to raise awareness and provide research to the government into a forward thinking, game changing research and development company, and virtual mental health gym.

Meg not only informs us of the issues surrounding being ill informed about mental health and where you can find resources but she empowers us to own our pain, own our experiences and shows us how she has turned her trauma into her super power, and how she's using this to help others. In this episode we unpack and delve into the ways we as individuals can look after our mental health and how we can help others. We also touch on topics such as Meg’s lockdown journey, politics, building meaningful relationships and much more.
