On today’s episode, I talk to Tokunbo Ajasa-Oluwa about authentic leadership and staying true to oneself in order to effectively lead yourself, lead others and lead the culture. 

Tokunbo takes us on a journey to his past and explains how a courageous decision around being true and authentic has helped shape his life. 

We touch on a range of topics and Tokunbo drops many gems around the power of language, dealing with Covid-19 nine weeks into a new role, working with young people from marginalised communities and what leadership means to him.

In 2020 Career Ready was shortlisted at the 2020 Charity Times Awards for ‘Charity of the Year’ and won ‘Corporate’ Partnership of the year for their work with Citi.

Tokunbo is a seasoned leader with a track record of successfully devising and executing innovative concepts, particularly within the media and youth development sectors. Tokunbo is an active member of his community and currently acts as a member board of trustees for Access foundation and a board trustee for Foundation for Future of London.
