Side B Christians, including author Bekah Mason, openly state they are homosexual, or transgender, and most of them believe God made them as they are. Nevertheless, they declare that out of loyalty to Scripture, they choose celibacy and refuse to indulge their sexual desires. FBB writer Shafer Parker asks, can B Siders be on the right track when their public expression of faith includes little joy and much sympathy for practicing homosexuals? And what will be the end result if their philosophy becomes the model for the church?
