After 14 years in the Royal Marines, Oli Mason found himself going from throwing beer festivals in a town hall, to creating a fully formed family festival with none other than Bear Grylls.  


Through a load of hard graft, and a little bit of naivety, Oli managed to secure a six figure sponsorship deal in year one, and the Gone Wild Festival was born.


The story of the festival is filled with huge challenges, big mistakes and massive wins. 


It’s a fantastic example of the risks and rewards of the events industry.
