On this episode of Pages and Panels, Kyle is joined by writer Nolan T. Jones to breakdown the first phase of his series Colonial Souls with Andrew Maclean and Pete Toms. The story follows a queen and her protector as they attempt to peacefully obtain the souls their colony's eggs require for reincarnation if their species is to survive. Nolan talks about breaking the book into phases, writing characters whose motivations maybe be foreign, world building vs character building and writing to the page turn.
