Guest Bio:
Christopher Maupin  Maupin was born in Sarasota, FL.  He has earned numerous degrees including BS at Eckerd College (chemistry and marine science), MS at USF College of Marine Science (chemical oceanography), PhD at University of Texas at Austin.  He is now an Associate Research scientist at Texas A&M University and co-director of the Stable Isotope Geosciences Facility. Chris has done fieldwork in caves and coral reefs and around the world, and severe convective storms in the US.
