Paying for training is definitely not necessary or possible for everyone. As a language learner, I found the best solution for me was a combination of free resources and paid training. When I saw the question "why should we pay for training when there is so much free material online?" in a Facebook group, I decided to write a few thoughts on the subject from my experiences as a language learner.
