In this episode, I share things that I learned when I was the only non-native speaker in a team of German speakers.
Some lessons were related to language, whereas others had more to do with communication styles and interactions between members of the team and how they made me feel.
Overall, it was a positive experience, but it also helped me to grow. That's why I want to share my tips and observations with anyone who finds themselves in the same position – whether that's being the only team member who isn't a native English speaker, someone who's attending a meeting of native speakers, or just someone who's working in an environment in which you feel that the people around you have better language skills than you.
