When Milad was 14 years old, he used Computational Fluid Dynamics to investigate how overtaking manoeuvres in formula 1 are aggravated due to turbulence – with that he won the contest for young scientists called “Jugend forscht”. After that he started consulting businesses like Volkswagen, Airbus, CarboTech in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Aerodynamics and later on he focused on innovation management.

His last station before founding his startup Modum was the cloud-based simulation provider SimScale. Modum is a DTC bespoke dress shoe brand. Their proprietary 3D scan and 3D printing technology allow producing bespoke shoes on any standard industrial production line on-demand and at the same cost as mass-produced, ready-to-wear shoes.
