Jason Bramburger is an incoming associate professor of mathematics at George Mason University. He has broad interests in dynamical systems, including pattern formation, chaos theory, and data analysis. Jason received his PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Ottawa in 2017 under the supervision of Benoit Dionne and Victor LeBlanc. Currently he is an acting instructor at the University of Washington working in the Brunton-Kutz group at the interface of machine learning and chaos theory. He has also been named a fellow of the Institute of Advanced Study in Surrey, UK for the 2021-2022 academic year.
