Beril is a Dutch AI researcher who has received her PhD degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2009 in Istanbul. She has later worked with the German Aerospace Center and pursued habilitation degree with University of Osnabrueck. She has worked as a guest lecturer at University of Augsburg and several other German universities until 2011. Between 2011 to 2020, she worked at Delft University of Technology and University of Twente respectively. She is an assistant professor at Jonkoping AI Lab where she is focusing on AI applications for healthcare and earth care.
