In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Esther Lemmens. Esther (she/they) is a creator, artist, podcaster, budding writer, truth seeker, gentle activist, and queer mystic. Generally non-conforming, she likes to refer to herself as a ‘rebel with a cause.’ Her motto is “do YOUR thing, YOUR way,” and she passionately believes that authentic, unapologetic and at times radical self-expression is the most important gift we can give to ourselves—and to the world. Esther is the founder and host of the Fifty Shades of Gender podcast and contributing author to the best-selling book 'Sacred Redesign – How to free yourself from society's standards and create heaven on earth.' She is also pansexual, non-monogamous, and dedicated to being the best gender-diverse ally she can be. She was nominated for the 2021 Positive Role Model Award (LGBT+) in the National Diversity Awards. Esther moved to the UK from her native Netherlands in 1999 and is a graphic designer by profession. In her free time, she enjoys drinking tea, stroking cats, hugging trees, and spending time with her squish. In this episode we discuss creativity, self-healing, being multi-passionate, the definition of pansexual and the use of labels for comfortability within ourselves as humans.
