We are pleased to have as our guest today Rev. Peggy Fox. Rev. Fox is a native of Richmond, VA and a graduate of Virginia State University with a BA degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Biology.  She has also completed classes at Virginia Union's Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology and at Union Presbyterian Seminary

  Rev. Fox taught at Pocahontas Middle School in Powhatan County for 10 years and at Broad Rock Elementary School in Richmond Public Schools for 26 years where she has held several leadership positions and was chosen as the 2007 Teacher of the Year 2nd Place Winner for the City of Richmond.  Rev. Fox is a member of several community and civic organizations as well as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,  Incorporated.  

Rev. Fox was licensed to the Christian Ministry in March of 1992 and ordained in February of 2000 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.  She currently serves the members of Woodville Presbyterian Church.  She is also very active with the Presbytery of the James serving as the Moderator of the Black Caucus and as the Area 3 Leader for the Presbyterian Women of the POJ.

Rev. Fox is a preacher, teacher, Christian Education leader, and a conference facilitator who loves the Lord.  Her motto is "If I can help somebody --- if I can lead someone to Christ --- if I can equip and empower someone as they seek to serve the Lord --- then my living is not in vain."
