Language of Grace

A Lesson in Vocabulary

1 Peter 3:13-17

Synopsis: Sometimes believers speak in an “unknown tongue.”  They don’t mean to.  They may be using English or Spanish or … whatever, but people who speak that language do not necessary understand what the believer is trying to communicate.  The language of grace may be better felt than told, but believers still have to try to “give a defense” of their faith to those who have never experienced it (1 Peter 3:13-17; Acts 24:10)

Today, I want us to work on our vocabulary.  I don’t want us to change it unnecessarily, just take a moment and try to explain some of the vocabulary used in the language of grace.
