Oh hello hi there.
This is the second episode in the Salem Series all about Charlotte Forten, abolitionist, educator, and amazing woman who lived and was educated in Salem for a time before she became the first black public school teacher in the city... pre Civil War.
I apologize for the wonky audio, between my cat trying to start his own podcast and my neighbors upstairs practicing their tap dance routine (I can only assume) it was a little weird. I'll try to work on it in the future as I continue to strive to provide you with the best weird podcast about fucked up history.
