A lot of you have asked me to do an episode about search engine optimization (SEO). Since this is a very big topic, I am going to do a few episodes about SEO.
SEO is short for “Search Engine Optimization”. The term is used to describe how websites are interpreted by search engines. Services such as Google and Bing are constantly scanning webpages on the internet and ranking them based on their pieces of content. These are the results you see when you use a search engine.
Having a good SEO strategy for your website will help you show up in more search results. More search results mean that more people are going to see your artwork and content. As an indie creator, it is very important that we are getting as many eyes in front of our work as possible.
