Back in November, Bronte and I recorded my first ever episode of EduKATE, and we couldn't have predicted that our conversation back then is more relevant now than ever. In a world where our physical (and mental) health is being discussed globally, Bronte and I discuss what it means to have your health taken away from you and the lasting implications that meningitis has had on her body. I learn about Bronte's story of contracting the disease and how she dealt with the gruelling process. We discuss how people take their health for granted, the importance of hand washing, and how people think and talk about chronic illness.
