Our guest is Carrie Hamilton. Carrie is one of the rare educators who wouldn’t want to be anywhere but in a middle grades classroom. She’s spent a decade teaching sixth grade, first as a social studies teacher at a charter school designed to meet the needs of the local refugee community, and now teaching across the curriculum at a small independent school in Atlanta, Georgia
She loves finding ways to use technology to open up the world inside her classroom and bring learning alive for my students. She earned her B.A. in History from Loyola University Maryland.
She is a Google Certified Educator, Trainer, and Innovator (DEN18), and a Pear Deck Certified Coach. Her website carriemhamilton.com has resources on that she shares about writing essays, using Peardeck and staying mindful.
