Aftab Hussain is the ILT Manager at Bolton College. The College has a proven reputation in the use of learning analytics, adaptive learning and conversational services. Ada, the College’s digital assistant is representative of an emerging suite of cognitive services that are redefining how students, teachers and support teams access day-to-day services at Bolton College. The College won the AoC Beacon Award for effective use of technology in further education in March 2019 and he was invited to the garden party at Buckingham Palace as a recognition for his work in educational technology.
Bolton College’s pioneering chatbot, Ada, has been praised by the Secretary of State for Education, Damian Hinds.
