EduFuturists #31 - Making life easier for teachers with Oli Trussell

Our guest today is Oli Trussell, a Google Certified Innovator, Trainer and Administrator, with experience delivering training to small and large groups all over the world. He is the owner of School Smart Cloud, which aims to offer simple to use products that make life easier for teachers and improve outcomes for students. He is also an EdTech Consultant with London Grid for Learning.

Oli started out as a Maths teacher and progressed onto school leadership teams. He has spent many years researching what technology works and what doesn't in the classroom environment and is often the face of the Google for Education presentations at BETT alongside the legendary, Jon Neale.

Oli is also an experienced coder who has launched popular Google Add-ons such as 'Super Quiz' and 'Form Values', and a Google Apps portal for schools - 'schoolsmartPortal’. Dan and I credit him with being one of the reasons we didn’t leave teaching and find solace in the Google tools after his training session at Old Trafford way back when!
