Our guest today is Jen Giffen (aka Virtual Giff) who is a Digital Literacy Consultant in the York Region District School Board in Ontario, Canada. She has a B.Ed from Queen's University and an M.Ed in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning from OISE at the University of Toronto.

She is a Google Innovator (#WDC17), Microsoft Innovative Educator, Apple Teacher, HP Teaching Fellow, Student Voice Ambassador, sketchnoter and mum of three boys. She is co-host of #ShukesandGiff the podcast with Kim Pollishuke, which aims to share EdTech treasures with the audience in the hope of creating an AHA moment and encouraging listeners to take those AHAs and give it a go.

The podcast is part of the Education Podcast Network with Chris Nesi and they have interviewed some great people, including Jake Miller who you can hear on our podcast - Episode #29 - Eric Curts, Tony Vincent and Matt Miller.
