Laura White is a secondary school Religious Studies and Philosophy teacher who has been interested in the potential of technology to help teaching and learning since her first day in the classroom almost 12 years ago. She is now Director of Digital Learning, Head of Thinking Skills, and Head of Life Matters (PHSE) at St Catherine's, a high achieving independent girls' school in Bramley, near Guildford in Surrey, where she has developed a model of technology adoption called Digital Intelligence. Laura is a Google Certified Trainer and Innovator, and she has spoken on Google Tools and metacognition in Europe and the USA. She is now two years in to an EdD at UCL's Institute of Education, where she is researching the potential of digital tools, to support reflection on digital learning for teachers and students.
