Edified Equity Podcast Episode 40: Being Successful in Business & as an Entrepreneur
I’ve been exposed to business and what it takes to successfully run a business since birth.

My entire family owned and operated their businesses it’s all I’ve ever known.

I’m part of multiple businesses today and I’ll be involved in business, and be an entrepreneur, for the rest of my life.

Today I want to share 10 common business success tidbits that I’ve seen, across multiple industries.
1) take responsibility for the good and the bad
2) reflect, learn/grow and course correct
3) work hard because it’s not easy &, in my experience, all success is result of hard work
4) think outside the box and understand what it takes so that you “can” instead of settling for “I can’t”
5) be willing to sacrifice because ultimately, the end goal, is worth it
6) don’t look for shortcuts
7) think long term & enjoy the thrill of the chase
8) structure your mind/business to go the distance and win by being the last person standing
9) oftentimes you’re the last line of defense so don’t waste time wishing or complaining be willing to pick up the slack to access your desired outcome
10) build and be a team

I’ve seen and experienced my fair share of ups and downs as a business manager but ultimately I’ve been able to come out on top by keeping those 10 business tidbits top of mind and executing relentlessly.
