Easter Sunday | Alternate Ending
Luke 8:40-56
The story of Jesus raising Jairus’ daughter back to life will be the dramatic backdrop for celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Welcoming as many as 1,500 of our people back into the building for the first time in a year; we will preach God’s alternate ending (life after death) as illustrated in the raising of this 12 year old girl we meet in Scripture. Of course, Jesus secured this alternate ending for all humanity by his death, burial, and resurrection. This sermon will encourage Christ followers not to despair in hardships, but to celebrate the alternate ending God is still writing in each of them and will challenge non-believers to give their stories to the only ONE who can change the ending of their respective stories.
