This week we're discussing a kind of unspoken part of fandom. We all know its there, but don't really talk about it often: Slash ships that are written by straight women, for straight women. Why is slash dominated by straight women? What's going on? Where's the line between ship and obsession? Appropriation or appreciation?

We discuss this part of fandom and our experiences with it and how we navigate these spaces in our own fandoms. Theres much to say and it's honestly a weird phenomenon when you really think about it.
