Gatekeeping in the MCU & fandom

Gatekeeping: telling people they're not real fans, that they don't know enough, that they can't enjoy what they enjoy. It's annoying and most importantly: it doesn't matter. Liking a thing doesn't make you special, just like and share the thing!

MCU gatekeeping usually involves the comics vs. the MCU, how many movies you've seen, or even little details like seeing movies the exact minute it comes out. All of it is nonsense because nothing can change how you enjoy media.
