Letting go of things in the past is difficult. With negativity surrounding us in the news, social media, and things that are happening at work, home, and socially, it is easy to point out the negative. Taking control of these negative thoughts is very important in order to become a happier person.
Rather than reacting to events that occur in your life, work on responding. Take time to think through it and respond in an appropriate way that you would be proud of. After your day is over, talk to your significant other, friend, or family about what happened. Name three things that were good and focus on how you can continue to make your days better.
